Drummer Wanted
Frank gets hit by a car and breaks his leg. His mom nurses him back to health. Frank is a rock drummer. His mom plays piano and sells real estate. They talk about what they want out of life. Frank has nightmares of his mother abandoning him. They drive to a karaoke place together. Frank gets drunk and shares a dubious sea rescue tale. They sing. At home, they fight. The lawyer calls and tells them Frank will get $150,000 from the insurance company. Frank says he’ll finally move out, but his mom is skeptical. Frank calls her a bitch and she kicks him out. Frank talks about the consequences of breaking a vicious circle as he approaches the threshold of the future.
