A statement concerning the New York City Players: The New York City Players is an artistic organization creating PLAYS VIDEOS and MUSIC about people, relationships, and, above all, feeling. It is a New York corporation, organized not-for-profit in 1999. The corporation, as yet, has no endowment. The income of New York City Players has been derived, on a year-to-year basis, from royalties on the purchase of tickets to staged productions and fees from touring these productions. This, however, constitutes less than 70 per cent of the annual operating costs of the corporation. The deficit balance of each year has been met by voluntary gifts and foundations. Individuals who would like to contribute toward the further reduction of this deficit and share in the continuation of the company are invited to do so.
