Ode to the Man Who Kneels
A Western.
This is it. How basic can you get? One battle leads to the next. It's all in the words. It all happens on the screen. It's all in the bodies. From this point on let's consider everything binding. I don't care how ephemeral it is. Virile vs. virile vs. beautiful vs. ________, (something very strong). In a town called Grid. Balladeers from another time compete for the affections of beautiful women.

A statement concerning the New York City Players: The New York City Players is an artistic organization creating showcases about people, relationships, and, above all, feeling. It is a New York corporation, organized not-for-profit in 1999. The corporation, as yet, has no endowment. The income of New York City Players has been derived, on a year-to-year basis, from royalties on the voluntary purchase of tickets to staged productions and fees from touring these productions. This, however, constitutes less than 70 per cent of the annual operating costs of the corporation. The deficit balance of each year has been met by voluntary gifts from participants, individuals outside the program, and foundations. The average annual deficit per participant has been reduced, in this one of America's best theater companies, to twenty dollars. Individuals who would like to contribute toward the further reduction of this deficit and share in the continuation of the company are invited to do so through the Annual Membership Plan. All contributions are deductible for tax purposes. Checks should be made payable to the New York City Players, Inc. 400 W. 43rd St. #27N New York, NY 10036.
